Namudag Raj Royal family

 • Namudag Raj was erstwhile principality and ruled the south Bihar in the early mediaeval history. It is also known for the Garh of royal family of the Surwar rajput (gaur rajvansh). Namudag princely state consist four zamindari estate Udai garh, Mahuari garh, Naudiha, Gulabjhari which were ruled by the members of the Namudag royal family.

Ancient Ancestry:-

They are descendants of Suryavansh Raja Bharata (brother of lord Shree Ram chandra) elder son Samrat Taksh deo , ruler of Gandhara, also Sindh desh was ruled by Gaur dynasty ( In Mahabharata time Jaidrath who was brother-in-law of Duryodhana  , Jaidrath belonged from this clan) , Raja shakuni of Gandhara ( son of Samrat Subala) also belongs to Gaur kshatriya.

Then they ruled whole Bengal (once Bengal was named as Gaud bengal) ,its capital was Gauda . King Shashanka was prominent ruler of Gaur Bengal, he killed the brother of Maharaja Harshvardhan of Ujjain(after Shashanka death Gaur dynasty power start declining in Bengal region).

Mighty Palaa dynasty(Rajput clan) was sub branch of this Gaur dynasty who ruled almost half of India and have GDP of 8.4 trillion dollar at that ancient time.

In Rajasthan this dynasty members lives in Sarwar, Gaurati , Kekri, Naar etc. Gaur dynasty is most prominent Rajput clan in Rajasthan and India.They ruled the most part of the Rajasthan and had made more than hundreds fortress.(For more information see Gaur dynasty on Wikipedia).

In Bihar Namudag  belongs to same Surwar clan (branch of gaur dynasty) are most prominent in Bihar , chhatisgarh and Jharkhand region. They are pure and original bloodline 486th generation of Lord bharata ( brother of Shree Ram).

*Before Namudag estate , dynasty ruled the Sarwar princely state(Rajasthan).(c. 530- 1947) and Dhaudhanr and Tilothu (near sasaram, bihar ).

In 1792 A.D, Raja bahadur Vijay bahadur singh officially settled from Sarwar and Surpur to Namudag estate . Presently also Namudag royal family owns plenty of royal property of Sarwar state.
